Vodafone is a global telecoms company with operations in multiple jurisdictions, focused on building 5G and fixed networks where data flows at high speeds. The business had huge demands across its technology base which was undergoing the large scale transformation of its legacy and radio network systems.
Working with them mainly across Europe, we were initially brought in to source technology candidates on a contract basis for fast-moving projects. After initially placing a few Business Analysts and Specialist Billing Consultants, the quality of the people we provided was recognised and we were asked to provide talent on a wider scale across the organisation.
Over many years, Individuals have been supplied for the following typical roles: Business Support Systems, Billing and CRM Consultants, Business Analysts, Solution Managers, Software Delivery Managers, Test Managers, Project Managers for their DOOR and Online Solutions as well as Core Network, Radio Planning Experts and Network Engineers.
This talent was predominantly sourced for the UK business, but frequently involved the Group Operations based in Luxembourg and Germany.
Following in-depth briefing calls with the hiring managers to understand what the business actually needed, many subject matter experts with hard to find skills were sourced, presented and subsequently hired across the three main locations.
In addition to the highest quality of candidates, compliance is a big requirement and all the processes were developed to adhere to the standards set out and comprehensive metrics such as CV to interview ratios were tracked.
Onboarding is often overlooked and we ensured all individuals were brought onboard effectively, including the provision of laptops and any specialist equipment needed for the role.
