Job Description
You require;
Knowledge of capabilities of BI/Data domain: concept of Data lake, key capabilities in reporting, ETL, BI
Preferably knowledge of tooling such as Cloudera, Hadoop, but also preferable to know BI toolkit (for example, OBIEE)
Knowledge of Telecoms domain preferred but not necessary
Should be able and eager to understand the current landscape of BI/Data, upstream (source) and downstream (consumer) applications, high-level and low-level
Create consistent AS-IS picture and TO-BE vision, suitable for management and future use in solution design.
Essential: Communication with Business and Suppliers, in order to understand business (and technical) problems and structure/describe/explain the solution options
Create Solution architecture and solution design for ongoing projects in the BI area
Able to work independently, and, if and when required, lead a small team of other architects and solution designers
