Business Development Manager - IoT
My client is a leading international telecommunications service provider that is urgently looking for a Business Development Manager in IoT field who will be managing the WEU region project. This position will be based in Dusseldorf Germany.

Job location:
Based in Dusseldorf Germany, support key IoT projects with Top Tier Telecom Operators across Western European Region. International travel is required. The purpose of this role is to work in expand and establish the IoT business with business partner in Europe.

Main Responsibilities:
- Develop a coherent partner strategy to foster an IoT ecosystem around telecom network in Europe
- Identify key partners and lead the whole partner negotiation process from pitch to term sheet
- Collaborate with involved product teams and business disciplines from legal to marketing to define
and close strategic partnerships
- Create, contribute and present company's IoT strategy and industry viewpoints to C- level customers
- Lead CxO workshops to explore the benefits of IoT and potential business and technical solutions
- Provide consulting service to telecom operators on how to develop their IoT business based on
company's components
- Support to build an ecosystem around company's IoT components through collaborating with
operators, partners and company's internal team
- Keep eyes on industry trends including business practices and IoT technologies to develop IoT

Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience on business development and large scale partner management
- Proven capability in developing strategic business plans and executing those plans with proven
results
- Ability to think and act both strategically and tactically
- Proven ability to influence others
- Deep knowledge of IoT/M2M and understanding of IoT/M2M landscape
- Knowledge of telecommunication network
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and presentation
- 5+ years of consulting experience or equivalent business strategy work
- 3+ years of experience in IoT/M2M domain
- Experience of presenting to C- level customers
- Extensive knowledge of the IoT / M2M market and ecosystems
- Knowledge of telecommunication network, M2M technologies, related standards/protocols
- Knowledge of software and web services development including Java, SOAP, REST
- Knowledge of data storage, cloud computing, big-data analytics
- Excellent communication skills across verbal, written, and presentation
- Bachelor's degree or above
