Job Description

Our client is one of the largest TV and internet companies in the world. They require a Cloud services Engineer to join their team over in Amsterdam.

*Design, install, and maintain network hardware, middleware (Oracle, Enterprise Service Bus, SSO), software (LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, intranet systems, SDDCs), and online/web/SharePoint applications.
*Monitor networks to ensure security and availability to specific users.
*Determine network and system requirements.
*Maintain integrity of the network, server deployment, and security.
*Ensure network connectivity throughout a company's LAN/WAN infrastructure is on par with technical considerations.
*Maintain network facilities in individual machines, such as drivers and settings of personal computers as well as printers, and in network servers such as file servers, VPN gateways, and intrusion detection systems.
*At least 5 years solid hands-on IT Infrastructure administration. This should be one (and preferably more) of System; Network; Database; Office Enterprise; etc administration skills within at least 2 large IT organisations.
*Allied to the above, solid and demonstrable experience of IT Production technologies, operations & processes.
*Significant Production large-scale Data Centre experience.
*Industry experience within at least 2 large international organisations, preferably 1 Telco.
*Preferred project management exposure/awareness (certification not required). An awareness of agile (scrum) methodologies would be useful.
*Solid knowledge of audit and Sarbanes-Oxley (Sox) processes.

English speaking is essential and this may be a long term contract up to 18 months.
