Data Analyst - Data Migration

Description
We are looking for an experience Data Analyst to join a migration project from legacy applications to the cloud. You'll be working with an international team working to tight deadlines in a fast-moving environment with cutting edge technology.
Role
*Take ownership of requirement analysis process for an assigned work items in the global Data Platform roadmap from initiation, engagement with stakeholders, ensuring implementation are in-line with scope, business value and platform architecture.
*Facilitate workshops with Architects, Product Owners, Product Managers and Engineers to ensure common understanding of the business requirement.
*Break down requirements into user stories in accordance with the agreed solution design, product scope and technical details, present these to development teams during agile ceremonies.
*Write technical & data specification for complex ETL processes for high volume global data platform
*Work closely with architecture group to ensure fit-for-purpose models, ensuring data security and quality on an ongoing basis
*Provide technical inputs to various development teams building ETL pipelines and complex transformations without compromising scalability and performance of big data system
*Lead data analysis, profiling, and modelling exercise for different data sources.
Experience
*Experience Data Analyst with strong knowledge and understanding of relational data models, star schemas, data warehouses and big data models
*Experience of working with at-least one relational database and one non-relational database system
*Experience of working with Github or any other source control repositories.
*Experience of working with scripting preferably Python / Perl / Unix Shell is a plus
*Experience of working on data migration projects and Big Data
*Strong ability to document complex rules, logic & transformations
*Delivery experience within an agile environment and continuous delivery
This will be for 6 months initially and remote although there will be some occasional meetings in London so will need ability to travel there on short notice
