The Company

The company is one of the leading e-commerce business's in the UK who hold Analytics at the heart of their business. Due to unprecedented growth they are looking to take on a Head of Analytics to lead the team moving forward.

The Role

Data is at the heart of everything they do and is an integral part to all functions of the business. To ensure the company lives up to that statement they have highly skilled analysts in all departments and your role as Head of Analytics will be to lead these.
We collect a vast amount of data day on day, week on week and these all come from various sources. All these systems will be at your disposal and we want you to guide, teach and lead the team on how to leverage them in the best way to deliver high quality, scalable, insight and analysis that can drive making key decisions across the business.

Responsibilities

One of the key responsibilities in the role will be to lead the Data Analysts to deliver consistent high-quality insight and Analysis to ensure the business understands performance and drive decisions which improve the key KPI's.
Another key part of the role will be to monitor the technologies we use and to make decisions on implementing new tools and manage the process on implementing these into the business.

Experience

*You initiate and drive projects with an autonomy and a bias for action.
*You understand the wider business strategy and are able to come up with multiple considerations and then make clear, sensible recommendations.
*You have the ability to drive changes by challenging current processes in place and recommend solutions on how we can change them to drive the business moving forwards.
*5-10 years' experience in the field of Data Analytics, Digital Analytics, or Business Intelligence
*Experience of leading and coaching a team of analysts across different business functionalities
*Exceptional SQL skills
*Knowledge of other languages such as python/R
