*Define, design and document IT business solutions, delivering Business Solution Architecture (BSA) document, corresponding UML artefacts (i.e. Activity Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, Use Cases) and Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) in support of documenting the program/project scoped IT business solution.
*Ensure that the solution architecture is compliant and aligned to the published Enterprise Architecture blueprints and product, technology and infrastructure roadmaps. Direct a design change control to ensure that all changes are considered in relation to the end-to-end design baseline. Ensure that the solution is aligned to defined scope but also positioned for future requirements.
*Review and approve design artefacts for the IT business solution (i.e. Functional Designs, Technical Designs, Interface Specifications, Data Mappings etc.), liaising with cross functional teams to achieve high quality designs.
*Co-operate with the Enterprise Architects on definition of the E2E architecture to assure the integrity, robustness and efficiency of the future E2E solutions. Identify opportunities to increase reusability and maximise cost synergies
*Able to validate and provide architectural guidance to the migration workstream to ensure that risks and opportunities are appropriately surfaced.
*Provide closer oversight on complex migrations.
*A minimum of five years' experience in enterprise and/or infrastructure architecture and solution design
*Excellent technical skills in modern data centre technologies. Desired skills include but are not limited to:
*Server hardware (x86 required, SPARC desirable);
*Server virtualization (VMware, LDOMs, zones, containers);
*Storage knowledge (NAS, SAN, RAID concepts, file storage, block storage);
*Foundation services (automation, monitoring, asset management, security);
*Multi-tenancy concepts (Cisco ACI, Juniper Contrail, VMware NSX); o cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, GDC); · A solid background in network concepts is also required including concepts of SDN, IPv4, IPv6, VLANs, subnets, NTP, DMZs to a level good enough to work with Network Design colleagues to produce integrated Solution Designs. · Preferably experience with databases (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server) in a High Availability
This role will be based full time in Amsterdam in an English speaking environment. We can assist in setting you up in the Netherlands if coming from outside of the country.
