My client requires a Product Controller to manage end to end delivery of Mobile Products and Services, optimising the customer experience in order to acquire new customers, manage & engage existing customers and retain customers should they want to leave us at the end of their contract. This is a key role within the team and you will be driven to develop, with a thirst to understand the industry and the customer engagement, loyalty and commercial drivers within the industry.
*Identify and evaluate new opportunities related to mobile; understand customer segment/needs and associated required technology developments
*Recommend product strategies and service priorities through business cases (working with Props and Finance) including investing requirements, revenues and costs as well as high level operational requirements and assessment of competitive positioning
*Define the business requirements, scope, and end-to-end customer experience for new and existing Mobile Products and Propositions.
*Provide strategic thinking and guidance to the delivery team, and partners, to ensure propositions are built to meet expectations/brief.
*Be the subject matter expert and the go-to person for defining and agreeing detailed business requirements
*Work closely with Proposition, Marketing, Technology, Customer Operations, Network Services, Procurement, as well as external partners and suppliers to facilitate the development and subsequent improvements to the mobile products and services.
*Ensure compliance with industry best practice, as well as regulatory constraints where relevant.
*Understand industry development, competitor plans and positioning, and trends in customer demand and adoption for wireless services and connected products.
*Take ownership from concept to live deployment, overseeing every stage of delivery.
*Self-starter: the preferred candidate will be entrepreneurial, with the ability to work well cross-functionally and in virtual teams
*You must have experience working within Telecoms Mobile, Broadband or Broadcast
*Driven and inquisitive: a thirst for understanding and using gathered knowledge to push through change in the business
*Problem-solver: able to balance conflicting business requirements (commercial volume & value, versus customer satisfaction) to deliver incremental value to the business
*Decisive and delivery oriented: simplifying ambiguity and giving clear direction.
*Vast Experience of Product Management, Delivery, & Customer Experience.
*Experience of Roadmap, Sprint and delivery process and leading an element of the process
*Resilient and able to adjust to changing objectives and communicate these positively to other
