Job Description

Programme Manager urgently required to Program manage the creation of a new hosting environment for EPM systems in a new data centre (Production, Disaster Recovery, User Acceptance Testing and Development) , the upgrade of the core software components (Oracle, Hyperion, Essbase) and the migration of current Business Intelligence (BI) applications which use the current Hyperion/Essbase tool set.

The Programme Manager will be required to work closely with the in-country user base. Responsible for the design, and management of the overall plan, budget, supplier liaison, (internal and external), stakeholder management, country engagement, program issues & risks management, test resourcing in-country, communications upwards and outwards, business case creation/support, ambassador for EPM within the company.

Work streams:
*Rebuild to make sure new hardware and datacenter in place
*EPM - entreprise performance management - application management/configuration. Ensure the product is properly/tested/released to finance users across the group.
*Disaster recovery planning

Essential Knowledge, Experience and Skills

*At least 5 years' experience of Oracle ERP (P2P, R2R, HCM) or SAP equivalent.
*At least 12 months experience of the Hyperion and Essbase BI solutions.
* Demonstrable System Integration / Technical Project Management experience across a number of IT projects with a focus of managing disparate teams in a challenging environment.
*Able to command respect of technical and business team members across the organisation and country finance teams.
* Demonstrable experience of managing a geographically dispersed team working across multiple time zones.
* Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly across the organisation
* Ability to think laterally to resolve project issues
* Experience of implementing and managing change in a software development / IT environment
*Experience of working with formal change management and delivery methodologies.
*Experience of working in a commercial share service or consultancy environment
* Strong planning and presentation skills
* This position requires fluent English language skills and authority to work in EU countries.

Key Responsibilities:

*To work closely with country based financial reporting teams within group countries and with Corporate IS (T&I) to define and ensure the planned changes to the proposed core EPM environment and solutions are understood, tracked and implemented in a timely and controlled manner.
*To ensure that all changes to systems are validated before they are transitioned to the live environment. Where relevant to work with test service to agree scope, cost and timescale for testing of individual changes.
*To work with test and development teams to ensure that core solution component defects are identified, prioritised and driven to conclusion and support in country teams with defect resolution of in country components.
*To ensure that Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies relating to core solution Technical deliverables are tracked and managed.
*To ensure the core solution configuration is managed and documented.
*To own the relationship with Solution Designers in T&I to agree timescales and deliverables of solution design changes
*To own the relationship with T&I organisation and third party suppliers to agree timescales and deliverables of core solution build & development activity
*Responsibility for the identification, procurement and build of hardware required
*To ensure that the proposed solution is Supportable, working with the T&I team to ensure support agreements are in-place
*To attend project review boards supporting the Executive Sponsor and Director of Competency Centres ensuring that feedback is understood and acted upon.
*To ensure that Project technical Go /No-Go calls are held as part of the governance process.
*Responsible for ensuring core solution project technical deliverables arrive within agreed scope, quality, timelines and cost using project management tools and the Delivery Framework methodology.
*Responsible for holding regular project work stream calls with in country test teams.
*Responsible for honest, accurate and timely project reporting on Technical deliverables into the Finnacial Systems PMO.
