Senior BSS Solution Manager

My client is a leading international telecommunications service provider that is urgently looking for a Senior BSS Solution Manager who will be responsible for German Region. This position will be based in Dusseldorf Germany.

Job brief:
Based in Dusseldorf Germany, support key BSS projects major focusing on top-tier Telecom Operators in German Region. The purpose of this role is to work with client's key accounts to ensure the deliver BSS solution. You will be working under the Carrier Business Group.

Main Responsibilities:
Business development and technical sales management & execution;
Developing account plans / sales strategies.
Hosting technical workshops as well as preparation of technical & commercial proposals;
Managing each BSS pre-sales process to convert each lead opportunity;
Managing virtual teams of BSS solution experts to support each opportunity;
Providing technical advice to internal teams in order to improve our products or solution;
Building or enhancing customer relationships, networking and other activities;
Execution of internal governance processes to support pre-sales activities.
Develop a powerful relationship with key customers in telecom operators.

Proven track record of work experience in technical sales or solution management;
At least 8 years experience in BSS field (i.e. Billing, CRM) in telecommunication industry. Experience in major vendor/operator is a plus (Ericsson, Huawei, Amdocs, Vodafone, DT, Accenture etc)
Proven experience with at least one of the following areas: BSS or other telecoms IT systems;
Ability to understand the commercial environment whilst focusing on technical issues;
Strong team spirit and good intercultural/interpersonal communication skills;
Proven ability to interact with diverse customers in a multi-cultural environment;
Fluency in German and English. Any additional language skills will be considered a plus.
