Job Description

Senior Network Engineer/Architet required for a contract in Amsterdam

Skill requirements:
Strong knowledge of IP Networks and relevant design (CCIE or JNCIE is a plus)
Strong knowledge of high end Juniper and Cisco platforms (MX and ASR series)
Proven solid experience in high-scale IP networks - BGP, MPLS, QoS, OSPF, ISIS, Multicast etc.
Good experience with network monitoring, reporting and planning tools
Experience with Unix developments and SQL databases - perl, c++, mySQL is a plus
Used to work with the Microsoft Windows and Office Suite
Fluent in spoken and written English
Good interpersonal skills, able communicator
Team player
Experience in multinational and multicultural environments
Good development/scripting skills in common languages like VB, JAVA, PERL, C++, etc
Good experience with different Operating Systems, with emphasis on Unix variants
Good knowledge MS Office applications
Bachelor degree in Information Technology or Computer/Electrical Engineering or equivalent industry experience
10 years of overall experience in designing and engineering complex large scale IP networks

The project
Network Design - build of new routers across the footprint. 2) MEF 2.0 Certification (Phase 2) - build of MEF certified network across the footprint, enabling affiliates to offer standard services. 3) B2B Carrier Ethernet improvements - Corporate. Extension of the existing network in order to be able to deliver additional services for B2B customers. 4) International Data Unit - Corporate. Build of the network infrastructure and connectivity, needed to support IDU department in its new activities.
The Engineer/Architect will be involved in design and build of the B2B network
