We are looking for a Scala Developer to join an existing team of app developers developing cutting edge solutions for millions of consumers providing next generation recommendation services for streaming TV.


Role

*Real time data processing and RESTful microservices in Scala (Finch, Spray/Akka HTTP and Play
*Refining the team processes working towards a continuously deliverable application
*Evolving the service offering with machine learning.
*Working with junior members of the team for Pair Programming and TDD

Experience

*You'll be an experienced Scala Developer
*You'll be experienced in working with a cross functional agile team
*Experience with Pair Programming and TDD
*Experience of coaching and support junior members of the team
*Kafka, Spark Streaming and Cassandra.
