Test Analyst - automation


My client is a leading European entertainment company. Due to additional demand on the business they require a Test analyst to join the team with strong automation experience You will be planning, designing, executing and reporting the tests, using appropriate tools and techniques and confirming to agreed standards to ensure that new and amended software, together with interfaces, performs as specified and intended in an Agile/Waterfall environment. Participate in scrum planning and estimation meeting and provide detailed test estimates for the given scope of work
Liaising with different areas of the IT and Business groups and work as part of

Tasks

Provide accurate estimates for testing efforts in line with test estimating standards and against requirements
Carry out impact analysis pf change requests on the Test stage of the project
Identity and report Test risks and issues
Attend and represent Test team at project meetings
Responsible for the test sign off of the given scope
Produce timely progress report and communications to the scrum maser including reports on system quality and metrics on test cases
Produce Test objectives manually or using appropriate testing tools
Produce manual and/or complex automated test scripts
Identity data requirements and prepare test date
Planning and execute manual and/or complex automated scripts and document results
Report test results to scrum master and/or the business

Experience


5 Years' experience as a test analyst
Must have automation test tool experience with Specflow, Gherkin, Ruby or Cucumber
Excellent PL/SQL skills
Experience using SOAP UI /Postman
Experience of handling XML messages
You must have experience of working on both an Agile and Waterfall environment
