Test Manager / Quality Manager - Amsterdam

Opportunity for an established Test Manager to join a project team in Amsterdam.

Skill requirements:
Simple Issue Language (Kepler-Rominfo) practical experience is a must (Atlassian Addon)
Good (admin) knowledge of both Linux OS (Centos) and Windows (server)
Good knowledge of Apache/Nginx configurations (reverse proxies, etc.)
Good knowledge of SVN/GIT
Good knowledge of Github
Good knowledge of change management processes
Good knowledge of requirements management processes
Excellent communication skills (fluent in English) written and oral
Experience with setting up VMs in VMware
Knowledge of test process improvement is a plus
Administration experience with Gitlab is a plus
Experience with DevOps is a plus (check-in, build, test and deploy)

Technology - Test/Quality - Manager

Medior: Operational role; Specific skillset or training; Standard educational credentials required; Prior experience in this role (2-5 years)

Summary: Responsible for overseeing internal trials of new products or changes to existing products. Be the single project interface between the project team and trialists, ensuring comprehensive and efficient gathering of feedback through the use of specific trial scripts. Lead and be accountable for ensuring that the product is in an acceptable state to move into Pilot and launch to external customers.

Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree in IT or other technical studies; experience managing testing/trialling changes or new products (via ISTQB, TMAP) within a cross-functional and cross-divisional organization; experience in telecom/digital entertainment within a Trials or operational environment; TMAP accreditation; experience with TPI (Test Process Improvement)

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Quality Mgmt. - Review business requirement, design documentation for completeness and testability; ensure that sufficient amount of trialists are recruited from various business areas to support a quality trial; manage trialists throughout the product trial, including the removal of trialists should there be a breach of their agreement; work closely with trialists to manage any feedback, "bugs" or issues; be responsible for ensuring that any additional equipment required by the trialist is available and delivered to them prior to the product trial taking place.

2. Project Governance & Delivery - Takes responsibility for the production and approval of all testing deliverables and achievement of testing milestones during a project; careful preparation of trial entry and exit criteria, including working with the project team to ensure this is aligned with any 3rd party contractual criteria; identify and manage bugs, risks, issues and impacts to customer experience; work with trialists, key stakeholders & operational representatives to ensure bugs and issues are understood and documented correctly; ensure that Trial strategy has been signed off by key stakeholders; regular reports on defects and issue status to the project team and stakeholders; prepare and manage the trialists and all associated tasks;
