Java Developer


We are looking for a Java Developer to help develop a new Content management solution for a TV streaming service.



Role


*Development of the CMS application using Java and Spring within an agile environment
*Assist in developing application deployment, monitoring, and automated control artifacts
*Providing maintenance and support of the AWS infrastructure, Postgresql Database and Object Caching layers
*Unit, Functional and Performance test code for robustness including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
*Supporting Improvement for automated test systems


Experience

*Extensive experience creating quality Java based applications
*Having worked on live high-volume websites
*Experience of working with open-source technologies and cloud services within AWS
*Strong experience in SQL and Postgres
*Strong understanding of Spring and Spring Boot and working within Agile environment
*Proficiency in at least one Continuous Integration tool (ideally Jenkins)
*Experience in automated testing frameworks


This is a 6-12 month engagement working fully remote in the UK outside of IR35.
