Our client is embarking on a fully virtualized mobile network based on innovative Open RAN technology. They require a Network Designer to drive the LLD design, deployment, configuration and troubleshooting activities related to IP/MPLS Core/Edge network domain using Cisco ACI Fabric.

Role

• Design & planning activities related to Datacenter including ACI, IP/MPLS Core/Edge network domain.
• ACI fabric deployment, Onboarding Applications to ACI and Operations.
• Design IPv4/IPv6 Network architecture, and topology as per customer requirements and produce network failover methodologies, and redundancy plans.
• Design & plan IPv6 addressing, naming and numbering formats for all network nodes and elements for Data centres.
• Plan, design and optimize routing for edge/core network and ensure service integration such as MPLS VPN.
• Plan, design and evolve Quality of Service techniques.
• L2/L3 layer with troubleshooting skills.
• Virtualization integration with L2/L3 traffic in mobile telephony.
• Validation of new equipment (Hardware and Software) to meet the predefined customer standards.
• Accountable for the set-up, management and support of the data centre tools and virtualization functionality.

Experience

• Experience in Network Planning, Design and Engineering.
• Cisco ACI - Implementation, deployment, troubleshooting and configuration is essential.
• Experience in Routing/Switching: OSPF/ISIS, BGP, IP/MPLS Core/MEN/Aggregation/Access network planning and design.
• Understanding of IP transport with SDN controller.
• L2/L3 layer with troubleshooting skills. CCNP Certified preferred
• Experience on Cisco products like 93180 YC FX, NCS 55A2, NCS 540, NCS 5504, NCS 5508, catalyst 36XX, 26XX.
• Knowledge of IP configuration for Cloud-based networks and MPLS Core/Edge network domain is a plus but not essential

This is a 6-12 month contract and you'll need to be based near Frankfurt in Germany for this role
