We are looking for an experienced Software Architect to join us on a 6-12 month contract (day rate or permanent fixed term). You will lead the end-to-end architecture, design, and development of critical Software as a Medical Device (SaMD), ensuring strict compliance with relevant regulatory standards.

Role:

• Architect and develop robust software solutions to create an MVP meeting all SaMD requirements.
• Collaborate on design, ensuring adherence to IEC 62304, ISO 13485, and ISO 14971.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and integrate third-party software.

You will bring:

• 5 years experience in software development, with at least 3 years specifically within SaMD.
• Expertise in software architecture, encompassing both desktop and cloud applications for medical devices.
• Proficiency in relevant programming languages (e.g., Python).
• Comprehensive knowledge of medical device standards, including experience with usability (IEC 62366) and security-related standards.
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD practices.

It would be advantageous if you have:

• Strong software testing skills.
• Knowledge of UI/UX principles.
