We are looking for a hands-on Data Engineer to join our team in either London or Brisbane. You will design, build, and optimise scalable cloud data platforms and integration pipelines that turn complex raw data into high-performance business assets within an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Pipeline Delivery: Build, automate, and maintain robust, scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and API integration workflows.
• Cloud Architecture: Develop and optimise data solutions using modern cloud platforms (Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, or Microsoft Fabric).
• Data Modelling: Design efficient dimensional models, schemas, and storage structures to support self-serve analytics and reporting.
• DevOps & Quality: Embed CI/CD automation, testing frameworks, and version control to maintain high data integrity and reliability.
• Collaboration: Partner with architects, analysts, and cross-functional Agile squads to deliver secure, governance-compliant solutions.

What You’ll Bring

• Strong commercial experience delivering data engineering solutions in complex enterprise environments.
• Deep technical expertise in SQL and Python.
• Hands-on proficiency with modern cloud stacks (Azure, Databricks, or Microsoft Fabric).
• Solid background in dimensional data modelling, REST API integration, and CI/CD practices.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across distributed teams.
